Experience with sales so far has been to buy replacement LED engines, simple transaction in theory but rarely the case.
- Lack of a self service online portal, this could greatly streamline simple purchases and re-orders.
- Multiple emails back and fourth having to repeat the same information for an order to get processed.
- Emails have gone weeks without a response.
- Having to keep actively chasing is not the level of service I'd expect from a company that markets itself as a luxury lighting company.
Currently very disappointed with various JC products I have used on my projects. JC is fantastic at lighting design but the number of faulty failing products is not acceptable, especially on large scale projects. I am now shocked at the number of faulty items in my latest order, 27% of the items were faulty and not fit for purpose (water ingress and failed fittings on external lighting). We notified JC immediately and after waiting two weeks for a reply from customer services we have been told to remove the fittings and return for inspection/repair (err replacement would be more appropriate for brand new faulty items). I will now have to pay out for removal and refitting, then cross my fingers and hope I get lucky, or perhaps stand over them with an umbrella. All rof which will be at my expense. I will await a sensible solution from customer services so I can follow up this review and hopefully praise their professionalism. I am sick to the back teeth of JC faulty products. Don’t even get me started on polesprings.
We love our John Cullen lighting thank you, the light and the fittings are superior to any other and working with Ray was a joy. He created the perfect ambience in our London apartment. He shared clever ideas with us and was very patient as I have a tendency to change my mind ! He also pulled out all the stops to get the lighting delivered to us quickly. We are building a house in Shropshire and would go nowhere else for our lighting and look forward to working with Ray again. I highly recommend them ..
