DRESSING ROOM Iggi Interior Design Вбиральня

A double fronted Grade II Listed house in St John's Wood fully reconfigured to create a striking family home. The property, made up of 6 en-suite bedrooms, includes a master suite on an entire floor comprising of his and hers en-suites and dressing rooms with bespoke joinery to ensure each element is considered.

The cool grey and white palette with cement floors and eucalyptus internal doors creates a contemporary neutral backdrop for the client’s extensive art collection giving a sleek, minimal New York feel. Explosions of colour and texture standout through the addition of bespoke furniture, sculptural installations, luxurious textiles and carefully selected feature wall finishes.

Key features include the bespoke staircase which creates a central spine linking all the zones, the Guest Powder Room with a specially commissioned platinum encrusted Lucite wall and the fireplace with lava stone hearth which was designed specifically to accommodate the three dimensional artwork.

Each area was carefully designed to accommodate the clients social requirements; sliding walls and extending furniture ensures that spaces can be adapted to suit anything from a small family dinner to a large drinks party which can spill out into the garden. Lighting played an integral part in balancing the mood through the careful selection of feature and task lighting.

Bespoke joinery with hand finishing was incorporated throughout providing ample storage, a place to display artefacts as well as concealment of AV equipment.

The basement level has been transformed in to a light, serene pool and spa area with borrowed light from glass floors and floating walls on the floor above.

The brief was to create a home for a family of six. The clients, originally from New York, were very specific about their requirements – a luxurious family home with practical living spaces and the capacity to be adapted for entertaining on a large scale plus a desire to showcase their large art collection.
