Today we are presenting to you a wonderful renovation of an apartment from Taiwan. Previously, the apartment was a typical single bedroom space with an extremely ordinary planning consisting of living room and bedroom. The spaces, although relatively large, were mostly gloomy, uncomfortable and had uninspiring finishes. After the renovation, the apartment was provided with high-quality finishes and good light quality that impart all the spaces a very sleek and comfortable appeal.

Let's take a look at how the kitchen looked initially. The kitchen was provided with full height tiles of extremely ordinary feel and finish. The storage spaces, as well as the cooking area, was very cramped as well as uncomfortable. Lastly, the light quality that entered the space too was very poor and dull.
The bathroom was largely monotonous with a small basin and an ordinary mirror. The light entering the space was very low as well the bathroom struggled for storage space.
The first thing that catches our attention is the extremely outdated wallpaper with red circles of varying size. Further, the furniture too was very ordinary and did not appear very inviting.
Before the renovation, the balcony was mostly used to store the unused household stuff as well as was the shelter for the pet.
The kitchen is provided with an L-shaped counter that offers the users decent cooking as well as storage space. Apart from the layout, the architects have also focused on the lighting design that gives the kitchen a nice contemporary look.
The washbasin is provided with a nice exposed brick finish. The change in finishing not only made the space look brighter but also bigger.
The bathroom is provided with sleek semi-glossy gray colored tiles instead of the previous dull white colored tiles. The wall tiles are further complemented by the hexagonal floor tiles that add a nice elegant touch to the entire space.
The living room is provided with comfortable modern furniture that goes wonderfully well with the gray flooring and especially the lime finished exposed brick wall. We also loved the modern centre table and the artistic painting near the wall that adds on a nice laid back vibe to the living room.
The balcony is now much cleaner and spacious since all the unused stuff was either discarded or transferred to a different space. Further, the architects also took down the worn out finishes and replaced them with simple yet sleek white and gray color combination.
