One of the most popular type of modular built-in kitchen types is the U-shaped kitchen. It is often used in modern homes as it is very efficient. The space distribution and the arrangement of how everything in the kitchen is placed makes it easy to work in the kitchen. It makes use of the principals of kitchen design such as the work triangle. However the seating space in U-shaped kitchens is usually quite small and limited compared to that of an L-shaped kitchen.
