If you love the contemporary aesthetic, would you look at this amazing kitchen? Created in a newly-built extension, this vibrant and unfussy space is absolutely amazing! If nothing else, just admire the light well and hige island with masses of storage included!

2. Traditional rustic motifs.

The wicker baskets, a farmhouse dining table and the pale sage green cabinets here are all so wonderfully rustic that we couldn't not show you this dreamy British kitchen! You just know that this must be found within a stunning thatched cottage, in a chocolate box village, right? Gorgeous!

3. Open-plan with a splash of colour.

It's not all rustic styling in British kitchens, as this lovely open-plan spot shows! Looking out into a dining and living room area, this modern installation has been kept neutral in terms of the cupboards, to afford a little colour on the walls and we love it! So fresh!

4. Modern rustic vibes!

If you like rustic styling but don't want to go the whole hog, you can add in a little modern sleekness, to keep everything in check! here, the shaker cabinet fronts give a hint of rustic flavour, while dark countertops, a large island and a bright white finish maintain a contemporary theme as well.

5. Constantly evolving!

What a genius idea! By including a mobile island in this neutral kitchen, it can adapt and evolve according to the needs of the user! You'd never need another installation again! The white and wood scheme is beautiful too and lends a touch of Scandinavian charm to the whole room.

6. All about the garden.

We Brits do love our gardens, so it makes perfect sense that a lot of us build kitchen extensions that have totally glass walls! What better way to appreciate all of our hard work, than by preparing food, looking out into our own patches of outdoor heaven? We love that the island here is the main work surface as well and that under-cabinet lighting? Amazing!

7. Loft apartment style!

If you are always on the lookout for the next trendy interior design style to emulate, we think you'll fall in love with this loft-inspired kitchen! The meeting of rustic walls with contemporary cabinets, natural wood and sleek white surfaces is amazing and creates such a juxtaposition between traditional and modern motifs.

8. With bold cabinets.

We're not afraid to experiment with a little colour in our kitchens here in Britain, so if you have been hankering for something other than a standard white installation, you go for it! The dark navy here looks utterly spectacular, not to mention elegant, bold and yet almost classic at the same time!

9. Drenched in light.

WOW! If you can take any inspiration from this article at all, please let it be a glass roof for your kitchen! The grey and white scheme looks so bright, fresh and clean, thanks to all the light flowing in and we love it! There's such a focus on light here, with those huge industrial fixtures drawing attention as well.

10. A proper country kitchen.

This must be a fully functioning farmhouse, as all the motifs really point to that! A flagstone floor, overhead utensil and pan rack and lovely shaker cabinets have all come together to make a picture perfect rural kitchen, complete with a large Weslh dresser for displaying all the 'good china'. So homely!

11. Accented with colour.

How about some super modern cabinets, finished in the widely prescribed white that we have come to expect, but offset by some REALLy bright colour? So many British kitchens are now experimenting with vibrant glass splashbacks and that's a trend that we are going to strongly recommend!
