If you have a lively and passionate personality and love to be on the up-and-up as far as new trends are concerned, then we have the ideal apartment for you today. The interior architects of Duda Senna Arquitectura e Decoracao invited us to view their latest project, which is the quintessential amalgamation of two wonderfully trendy interior design schemes–bohemian and contemporary.
The home is bright and refreshing in every detail. An all-white interior was made homey and quirky through the addition of bold accents, warm wood and curious artwork, and it's these details that really make the interior shine. Each element, both functional furnishings and fun accessories, works in perfect harmony with the next, creating a pure and relaxing atmosphere.

We step inside the home and find ourselves in the open living area. A dining room and small reading corner also occupy this space. Each component in the room adds a distinct essence that sets it apart from the others, yet simultaneously aligns in the same design style. To optimise space and comfort, a large L-shaped sofa was placed in the corner. This setup plays upon the white interior and helps enlarge the room. For comfort and a bit of differentiation between spaces, a grey carpet which matches the tiled flooring was placed underneath the sofa.
Here we have a nice close-up of some of the finer details of the apartment. The furnishings work in perfect harmony with the interior colour and gives a striking impression. The small side table in black metal adds a touch of sobriety and refinement. Abstract accessories like the ball of yard and glass dish accentuate the vase of dried flowers. These minimalist-inspired decor items accentuate the design without overloading the space.
The dining room, which is not far of, is comprised of wood and black–a nice variation from the ever-popular interior style of wood and white (which we of course have, but with a twist). Hanging over the table is a very unique and striking lamp which adds some of the bohemian charm we were talking about.
Across the room we have the television and a mini bar that make this space irresistible when entertaining guest. Amidst a very contemporary and neutral interior, a few house plants were added to the wooden elements for a warmer and friendlier atmosphere.
We here at homify live for literature and always appreciate a good reading corner to which we can retreat, and this one is impossible to overlook. A brilliant combination of striking red, black and white bring in contemporary flair.
The master bedroom is full of interesting details and splashes of colour to match up with the rest of the home. But here, we find cooling tones instead of bold and bright red. Calming blues and greys accentuate the bohemian style, while the minimal and all-white furnishings blend in the modern charm in a coherent, unchanging order.
As we always assert, beauty lies in the details of a home, and these details astound and inspire us. Small sculptures, modern art and contemporary photographs converge in each corner of the room, sparking conversation and inviting admiration.
Finally, we take a look at yet another reading and relaxation area. As these residents love everything comforting, another cosy corner was added to this room and it consists of a leather chair with an ottoman. An orange night stand with an eccentric lamp show us why there is no space for the common in this home.
